Xtreme Reach Dragon Boat team is now recruiting physically fit men and women for the 2011 season. We are a competitive Victoria team that works hard but also knows how to have fun! We practice out of the Gorge Rowing and Paddling Club on Mondays at 7pm and Thursdays at 5:30pm. Our first practice will be Monday March 14th.

 

Xtreme Reach is a competitive dragon boat team that, since its beginnings in 2004, has rapidly earned the status as one of the top competitive teams on the West Coast. Our team-mates range from members with years of dragon boating experience to those relatively new to the sport. We are all excited about what we will be able to accomplish together as a team. The first practice at the beginning of the season is free if you'd like to give paddling a try and if you decide to join us the fees are reasonable.

 

We are proud to be coached by James Hill of the Victoria Gorging Dragons, Pacific Regional and Club Crew World Champions. Xtreme Reach trains at the Gorge Rowing and Paddling Centre (GRPC) on the beautiful Selkirk Site waterfront.

 

We are committed as a team to improving the technical skills and core strength of our paddlers to help advance our placement in several of the local, regional and international dragon boat festivals.
